Caleb Bratcher The brass takes this album to another level. Hearing those slow, sludgey slams while the brass sings its own song is just a listening experience like no other. I'll definitely be recommending this album to everyone I can. Favorite track: Tahquitz.

Nate Wilson This entire album has a real southwest, western feel to it. The brass truly compliments the often haunting guitar melodies. This song in particular, not only being the first track, ended up being, in my opinion, the best. Favorite track: The Dawn Thief.

Michael Reilly The immersive scale of this superb album mirrors the impressive landscape it represents – a region of unique flora, grand vistas, and natural beauty. There's so much to explore in these great compositions – expect to get seriously (and very happily) lost in the process. Favorite track: El Pistolero.

Martin SK An album that takes you through an entire continent. The songs paint pictures of landscapes, highways, mountains, deserts and everything in between and they all tell their own story. A story of you, the traveler in this vast country.

This is fantastic from start to finish. This empowers you, frightens you, saddens you and soothes you. The use of the trumpet is brilliant and really gives this album a special feel to it. The whole thing is a breath of fresh air and a force to be reckoned with. Favorite track: I Shall Sail No More (No More Shall I Sail).

Miguel González Although I've never been in the Madrean, this music is tremendously evocative to me. Surprising and unexpected the addition of the trumpet. Of great beauty, this is one of those albums that make you remember why music is worth listening to. Favorite track: The Dawn Thief.

This album is my reference for melodic/melancholic post rock. Very great build ups and the emotions, yet a lot of beauty involved. Not to mention that it is energetic and not just slow music. Most songs are purely instrumental. From time to time they throw in a song with vocals, which keeps being refreshing and works soooo well. From start to finish very great and strong song writing!
